Maybe remote training reducing impact on #co2emissions is clear to many. Anyway, I got inspired today and wanted to find out the reduction in flight travel alone.
My parameters for the training:
– 15 participants from European countries
– 1 day workshop
– no overnight stay considered
– meeting at the airport
I tested a few calculators and different distances and arrived that total CO2 emissions of F2F workshop would exceed 5t even if the meeting would take place at Frankfurt airport. In Asia the emissions of similar event would be 3 times more.
